FOW PLAYER OF THE YEAR
The Friends of Warringah are pleased to announce that Harley Attwater has won the 2019 FOW Player of the Year.
The voting criteria for the FOW Player of the Year is as follows:
"Demonstrated sportsmanship, commitment, character and typified the Rats
spirit when representing WRC."
Harley was a runaway winner of the FOW award with the FOW Members voting for a total of 14 different players.
Harley wins $1,000 from the FOW which is to be spent on rugby, work or educational expenses.
Some of the comments from the FOW members with respect to Harley included:
"His versatility and willingness to cover all backline positions."
"Harley stepped up whenever he had too and filled big shoes. Played anywhere in the backs they asked of him and his kicking saved us on more than one occasion. He always gave 100%."
"Harley was always there to fill the breach and his shear skill and determination was outstanding whenever he was on the paddock."
Congratulations to Harley on a fantastic 2019 and we look forward to seeing him at Rat Park again next year!!!
